Galerie and is a non-profit art space and curatorial project based in Berlin, Germany, dedicated to trans-disciplinary and research-based creative practices. We exhibit, produce, and facilitate public artworks that bridge mediums and disciplines, offering an approachable and welcoming environment for exploration.

From the beginning, we found ourselves consistently using the word “and.” It’s a gallery and... we’ll do exhibitions and... collaborate with visual artists and... Galerie and aspires to be a home for the artist who loves to cook, the chef who writes poetry, and the poet who is also a scientist. We’re interested in the artist, the artwork, and the stories behind them—regardless of the medium.

Located at street level in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district, Galerie and presents exhibitions, programs, and workshops that foster open, curious connections. We welcome Berlin’s creative community while also inviting an international audience to engage in the exchange of ideas, methods, and even a good joke.
